Mentoring and Training Program

ADC UNBOUND

Ashleyliane Dance Company is preparing for the third season of our successful educational program, led by ADC Artistic Director, Ashley L. Tate! Young dancers are invited to participate a weekly program designed for young artists who are interested in dance as a profession or want to take their study of the art form to a new level.

Our 2019-2020 session begins on September 3, 2019. UNBOUND students must be between the ages of 12-18 years of age. All prospective students must do a placement lesson with the artistic director by September 2, 2019.

We have three educational tracks available:

Track 1: You will receive classes in jazz, ballet, contemporary, modern, hip hop, improvisation class, jazz funk, and mentoring session with the artistic director, which includes personalized mentoring and study of dance history, composition and the business of dance. (Meets weekly on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays)

Track 2: All of the above without ballet and modern class (Wednesdays and Saturdays only)

Track 3: All of the above without jazz funk and improvisation (Tuesdays and Saturdays only)

Students receive about 8-11 hours of training a week for an economical tuition! These students also receive discounts for all ADC guest classes and workshops. There are also performance opportunities available! This season our UNBOUND students are invited to perform in our ADC Professional Company's spring concert and holiday showcase and will host their own end of the season showcase, featuring our soloists, group choreography, and pieces created by the students through our dance composition and improvisation training.

UNBOUND students also have the option to compete and attend conventions!

The tuition cost for Track 1 is $250 per month and Tracks 2 and 3 are $200 per month. There is an additional cost for competition and convention fees, if you and your dancer opt to be a part of this group. There are no classes during our winter break (December 22-January 3, 2019) or spring break (March 8-15, 2020).
