ADC'S RESPONSES TO THE COVID-19 CRISIS:

  • Our ADC UNBOUND Mentoring and Training Program moved to a fully virtual format to finish the Spring 2020 season and will move to a mixed-delivery format in September 2020, based on local and CDC recommendation.

  • We now have an On Demand channel through Vimeo where anyone can take full dance classes for free and watch a couple of our concerts in their entirety for a very economical fee!

  • We offered a full schedule of summer classes that began in a completely virtual format and moved to a hybrid-delivery model in mid-July.  We are continuing to offer a virtual option for all drop-in classes.

  • Our ADC Fusion Collective program continued to train and work on repertory during quarantine, and their hard work was featured (along with ADC UNBOUND) in a virtual showcase in June 2020.

  • ADC Artistic Director, Ashley L. Tate, taught a plethora of "quarantine" drop in classes in a variety of dance genres.

  • The ending of the 2019-2020 season was celebrated with a weekend of viewing parties of past stage work, free dance classes on Instagram, and an artist talk with the company director.  We offered all of our 2020-2021 concerts virtually.
