TEMPO
November 13-14, 2021
Whatever the style, music has its own tempo, its own speed of execution. Tempo is a powerful musical element that affects human emotion. In the opening main stage concert of the 2021-2022 season, Ashleyliane Dance Company explores various tempos and melodies with meaningful messages, serious symphonies, and catchy choruses. This show highlights the diversity of styles that is characteristic of ADC. This company of classical, contemporary and commercial dancers brings you creative new choreography from guest artists Prince Lyons, Leah Robertson, and company director Ashley L. Tate, as well as a selection from the repertoire, choreographed by Marcus and Paige Johnson.

PHANTOM
March 20, 2022
Inspired by themes presented in Gaston Leroux’s 1910 novel, The Phantom of the Opera, “Phantom” highlights the need for every human to be loved, through the eyes of a young woman who struggles with self-identity and finding a place to fit in. "Phantom" is an exhilarating and haunting ride through her journey as she (and those around her) grapple with themes of love, beauty, courage, redemption, as well as the natural vs. the supernatural. This original story is written, directed and choreographed by ADC Artistic Director, Ashley L. Tate

UNSEEN
June 4-5, 2022
The pieces presented in “Unseen” are designed to foster conversations around our country’s often marginalized and underserved populations including women, immigrants, people with disabilities, among others. This concert uses the vehicle of dance to shed light on the ongoing struggle of groups of people whose lives have been negatively affected by discrimination, conflict, neglect, or corruption. We seek to elevate the unheard voices of various unseen communities to make the invisible visible and promote collective liberation for a weekend of socially conscious performance art. Do not miss this diverse concert featuring the choreography of Ashley L. Tate, as well as work from Dustin Crumbaugh and spoken word artist and poet, Cheeraz Gormon.
Don't miss these performances featuring our students and trainees!
